The Addict
My heart has become consumed with fire And yet I continually refuel it to keep its flame from going out
I have become an addict never being satisfied I have thrown myself into a depression by my own free will I have chained my heart to the shackles of slavery and the whip has caused it to be in fear of my own soul
My heart has become severely wounded I have become its worse enemy
I must break the chain that has shackled my heart to and illusion that has the power to kill I have fought many battles and lost This fight I must win because it’s my life ©
